Very easy face to access at night. just a few 'buttons' was one of my criteria for least confusion & ease of selection; the 810 design does the job.
the left side of the face confuses me laughingly easily. maybe the buttons could be on opposite sides of the face as are the staging and arena buttons.
Posted Feb 27, 2004 - I was sold on the looks of the Sony CX810. the curving face surround and clean look are really appealing. The small number of selection buttons and simple face, lit and unlit, were big deal makers for me. The preprogrammed sound has enough combinations for me though I'm not a fanatic listener by a long shot. I havent needed to change out my existing speakers either. I have yet to figure out how to program stations, tho I havent spent much time at it. Nor how to enter CD information on screen. ah well, I just want to listen to books on cd anyway.
