Beware! I am writing from Greece. I have bought many items from several US Companies and I have to say that most of them were professionals. But this company is a nightmare. For sure it is not a Company! I ordered and paid a car alarm (Viper 5900) from this seller on 14/9/2009. According to their “site” the time about shipping is the following: “3-7 business days & all orders ship within 7 business days, but fact being 95% of our orders ship within 24-48 hours”. Until 24/10/2009 they had not shipped anything to me, only cheap excuses.On 24/10/2009 my Order was cancelled and they promised a Full refund immediately (as they got my money immediately). Until now I did not get anything back (I mean money)… except from this email on 2/11/2009: “So you would 100% rather have a refund?”??? Overall Rating

Fast free shipping, I bought some Alpine woofers off DCCA and was surprised how fast I got them. Initially, they did not charge my card until they verified I was the cardholder, which was very respectful. Secondly, I received my purchased within less than a week, brand new and untouched. Lastly, nobody beats their 3 year warranty. No other online store can offer that. I will be back for all my purchases. Overall Rating

Excellent prices, excellent service, fast delivery. What more can you ask for? What people have to understand when searching reviews, is that the only people typically leaving reviews, are the unhappy customers. I never got an email from dcca asking me to leave them a review, which was very respectful on their behalf. I hate when merchant's flood my email box with requests to leave reviews. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I placed a 3000.00 order with them back on 16 AUG 09... Still to date all they give me is the run around!!! Just got off the phone with Nader the GM and he was full of excusess... Warehouse this shipping that. Yet they promised to meet my timeline of 8 Oct 09 and took my money right away back in Aug!!! This is by far the worse online company I have ever delt with. Do yourself a favor and order from Crutchfield or anybody that has a good rating. It will save you a lot of time and money. I am currently seeking legal action if at all possible with this company!!! Overall Rating

The only good comment I can give these guy's is they do answer e-mails and I have been able to contact them over the phone. I ordered over $400.00 worth of equipment and every week over a 6 week period was told that one amp was back ordered, then the other amp was back ordered then the excuse was the shipping warehouse was backed up and could not get orders out fast enough to keep up with order placements. I got an email yesterday stating they cancelled my order at my request and it would be 7 - 14 days before the credit will show on my card, but the charge showed up instantly on my card. I read reviews on this company after the fact and most have waited as long if not longer to actually get the credit back they were charged. These guys are doing nothing but making money off drawing interest against charges they place on your card. I'm sure you have all heard the term "when hell freezes over", well that's when you may get your order or credit from them. Overall Rating

they lied to me saying it was in stock and ten days later they tell me its on back order.i called and robert jones tryed to tell me the website stats something else.but i kn ow what i read.anyway still dont have the product that i paid for .viper 5901.they claim its on back order. but i can go to bestbuy and purchase it right now .if i dont get it within a couple days im going to take legal action.the only person who was honest was max .he made mr. jones call me to tell me lies.im not stupid im a police officer .there is other companys that are cheaper and give you a tracking number pronto.these people think their slick.they charged my creditcard and never sent the product.that is fraud and a felony .i ordered other products from similar companys and got the tracking order right away.plus i even received them already . i was going to order more stuff but forget it i dont have time for games . Please avoid this people. They sell what they don't have. You have to wait forever for it. I ordered on the 7th and i'm still waiting (today is 22nd). There's no answer. You call customer services nobody picks the phone up. And if someone picks up you'll have waited for at least 30 minutes. They told me my product would be shipped tuesday (20th) and today is 22nd. If you don't want trouble, avoid them. There are many for the same price. I'll cancel the order through the bank ( i paid by credit card). Overall Rating

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS THEY FLOAT YOUR MONEY FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS BEFORE THEY SHIP AND IF YOU CANCEL THEY KEEP IT FOR ANOTHER COUPLE OF WEEKS. We ordered an auto radio from this merchant. My credit card was immediately charged. After one week not having heard from them, we contacted them to ask when the merchandise would get shipped. I promptly received a tracking number and the promisse that the item would be shipped in the next 24-48 hours. After another week of idle promisses of expedited shipment or price reductions still no shipment... Finally I canceled the order on 10/07/09. After two weeks I still have not received a refund, I started an investigation through my bank and disputed the charge. Overall Rating

Ok so I thought my issue with them was unique. In search to find the head of the company to send a proper complaint email, I see that nearly everyone here has had the same exact problem! They sent me a tracking number for my order and after waiting 3 weeks and emailing and calling numerous times they finally told me it's on back order from the company! Funny how JVC, Sony, and Punch all happened to not be sending out product. I then asked for a refund and was told 7-10 days. It's been over a month of complaining and emailing and I see I'm not the only one. Someone with some success please tell me who else to complain too! Not everyone can afford to wait on hundreds of dollars to go back to their bank and dealers should not treat customers this way. Overall Rating

I had to call them to complete the order because the online order page kept adding shipping when my item indicated free shipping (expedited shipping). Shipping did take a bit longer than stated due to the included adapter kit being on back order, but I'll gladly shop there again! They were courteous and apologetic on the phone and they're selling great products at fantastic prices! I got THE best price on the receiver including the free wiring harness, mounting adapter and free shipping. I could not find them, separately or bundled, for a cheaper total price anywhere. I ordered two sets of speakers and an XT-100HD. All of the items were listed as in stock when I ordered them. They charged me right away for the order but I heard nothing for three days about any shipping info so I emailed them. They said that they would send the two speaker sets right away but made no mention to the XT-100HD. After receiving the speaker sets in the mail I waited until two weeks after my original order to contact them. They said the XT-100HD was pending but gave no date. I waited another four weeks before contacting them again. They responded quickly and said they would ship it in 2-3 days. Well nothing came for a week and a half so I sent an email requesting a refund. They said they could ship the item out in 2 days and once again I said okay but I wanted a shipping confirmation email. One week later there still was no email so I sent another refund email and they processed the refund right away. Most frustrating experience I have ever had with an online purchase. Overall Rating

I purchased a full stereo system from DCCA in May. I was pleased how fast they delivered, and had originally ordered from them to receive their 3 year warranty, that no other competitor offers. That is what attracted me to this company, and since they have been around for over 20 years as a corporation, I knew they had to keep their word. 2 weeks ago, my amplifier I bought went into protection mode. I emailed them, received an Return Authorization the same day. 2 weeks later, I just received a brand new, working replacement. I would definitely use their services again. Thanks DCCA. My experience? They take your money, don't ship the product. Call to find out what's going on and they'll throw a line of BS at you to buy more time. Another day or two will go by, no change on the tracking # status. Call to ask and get more lies. Most of the lies are really bad and can be seen through right away. For those of you who are smart enough to research a company before buying from them, trust me and all of the other bad reviews - we're not exaggerating any of this. How can I say this any better.....WORST COMPANY EVER. Do not buy from this place which is probably being run from this individuals basement. I bought an Alpine overhead DVD player and its been 3 months and still haven't received it. They say its not in stock and the manufacturer is having problems but just read the other reviews? Everyone is having the same problem so you know its them. They have cheap prices but the problem is they don't have the items they claim to be selling. Don't waste time with the hassle and headaches this company will give you. Buy retail from somewhere else. Its way better. Overall Rating

DO NOT ORDER ANY EQUIPMENT FROM THIS COMPANY! They will give you a big runaround when your equipment doesn't show up on-time. I also was told by dealercostaudio that my equipment was on back order. BS! I don't know why they are in business if they never plan to send out ordered equipment. When I called them I was left on hold for over 30 minutes 4 separate times. After I was sick of waiting for my equipment for more than 3 weeks I cancelled my order altogether b/c I was tired of getting the runaround. If I don't get my refund back within 7 business days I'm going to be giving the Better Business Bureau a call and file a grievance report. I WILL NEVER ORDER EQUIPMENT FROM THIS LAME COMPANY AGAIN and I hope you don't either! Overall Rating

Overall, my experiences with Dealer Cost Car Audio have far surpassed by expectations. Firstly, I called first to make sure the part I wanted was in stock (the item was backordered from their competitor, and I had to wait an extraordinary amount of time to even get the order cancelled), and sure enough, it was in stock. I placed the order, and proceeded to wait. Within 3 days, I was emailed a tracking number. I thought it was a little long, but hey, if I am this picky, 2 days extra isn't too much time! (a lot faster than the 2 month wait from their competitor). Within a week of the tracking #, my brand new speaker set arrived at my door. I was extremely happy, and will love to recommend this gem to anybody out there. Please, shop one, shop all! You will not be disappointed. Stay far away from these guys. Total scam artists. My son ordered an amp and sub woofers from them on 7/22/09. After several emails my son finally received the amp on 8/18, but never received the sub woofers. It is now 10/6, and he still has not received a refund after email after email. All kinds of promises, no delivery. Usual wait time on the phone is 1/2 hour, then you just get more promises that are unfulfilled. Real bunch of wise guys too. Stay away. Overall Rating

I ordered a brand new Boston Pro60se speaker set. Within 24 hours, I received a tracking number. Following that, I received my item within 3 days. I tried to order through one of their competitors, and am happy I chose Dealer Cost Car Audio. I do see many other reviews that were not so good, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt, got a brand new speaker set, with a 3 year warranty (who else gives a full 3 year warranty on car audio on the web?). This company lies and continues to lie. I got back the used speakers and there is no cover on the back that peels off ? They are all scarcthed up as I said and are used. I lost over 500.00 and 3 months waiting on them to make good. I will be all over the internet about them. At this point they should change there name. This is by far the worst merchant to deal with,they have no idea what customer service is about. I ordered boston accoustics 10 inch sub, was told after a week of waiting after i tried calling tons of times if you ever get connected its a miracle that my order was on back order. Called 2 weeks later its shipping this week I was told. Well its a month now and still havent recieved it, cancelled my order now can only hope my card is credited back sometime soon. These guys definitelly need reported to better business bureau. Its funny no matter what is ordered as said in everyones reviews its always on back order,but yet they claim almost everything is shipped within 24 to 48hrs.Its funny how all these reviewers have the same problem but yet we are not ordering the same things.
