Kenwood has adapted anti-diffraction home speaker technology and put it on their Image Enhancer Series car speakers. A smooth surface around the PEI balanced dome tweeter eliminates much of the reflected sound waves that can bounce off a flat, hard surface and interfere with the direct sound waves coming from the tweeter.
